“Absolutely lovely cottage. Felt right at home as soon as you walk through the door. Every room was spacious, the views from the property were gorgeous, & the night sky was amazing. Unit did not have a washer/dryer as listed, but Lee did a load of our laundry for us. I can't thank her enough. Lake Hayes was a peaceful area about 25 minutes outside of Queenstown. Highly recommend if you'll be traveling in the area. Wish we could've stayed longer!”

“Looking for a perfect Airbnb. This cannot be bettered. Beautifully appointed and tastefully furnished. Perfect location with direct access to Lake Hayes. Absolutely private with parking beside the property. Great Wi-Fi and to reception. Lee and Jaap could not have been more helpful. We stayed for a week and we were sad to leave. Very highly recommended it is the perfect package”

“One of our favorite airbnb experiences! Jaap and Lee-Anne were incredible hosts and made us feel right at home. The location is amazing as you can walk to the lake and Arrowtown and only a short drive from Queenstown. The views from the Airbnb were stunning and the space itself was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated”

“Lee and Jaap are wonderful hosts. Kind of felt like we were staying with friends (without any obligations!) The character of the place is amazing. Perfect riding distance to Arrowtown (although up a steep hill!!) A great place for those who don't enjoy being swamped by the crazy busyness of Queenstown but still an easy drive away. Couldn't fault this place and would love to return.”

“Highly recommend this wonderful spot . It is warm, cosy , secluded and all amenities you need. So close to the beautiful Lake Hayes and just a 5 min drive into Arrowtown. Welcoming hosts who even left delicious baking and fresh eggs. We will definitely come again , next time in Summer.”

  • "An absolutely wonderful stay right outside of Queenstown. It’s well within driving distance, but was nice to stay outside of the city and drive in for whatever we needed. The provided bikes and kayaks really enhanced our stay, as we were able to do the nearby trail and explore the surrounding area! Lee’s veggies from her garden were excellent! Would absolutely stay again, highly recommend!"

  • "Delightful apartment within a hundred yards or so of Lake Hayes. Extremely comfortable and cosy (especially the bed). A spacious plce which is well-furnised and has great decor. Very welcoming hosts who were flexible with check in and gave some great recommendations. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to stay again!"

  • "This is wonderful place to stay. it is Immaculately presented, and you shall not want for anything. Lee has thought of everything one might need during their stay. I really appreciated the Milk in the fridge when I arrived. I was able to have a coffee and take in the vibe of the place. It has a Santa Fe architecture style with its straw bale structure and adobe walls. It has such a warmth to it and the under-floor heating is so effective in winter. There is an ample closet space for your clothes and gear and Lee supplies plenty of towels. The location is fantastic as the site is next to the reserve on Lake Hayes, and 5 minutes’ drive to Arrowtown. I can’t fault this place and I would definitely book this again when back in the area. I highly recommend it."
